1. Getting Started

Welcome to ResusLogic. This sandbox simulates a live patient monitor. Click ▶ Load Scenario at the top to choose a pre-built patient scenario or create your own custom baseline.

2. Patient Assessment

• Vitals: HR, SpO2, EtCO2, and Temp update continuously. BP requires manually cycling the NIBP cuff (click the cuff icon).
• Pulse Check: The monitor shows electrical activity, not mechanical output. You MUST click Check Pulse to verify if the patient has a pulse.

3. Managing the Airway

Click Airway Management to select your device (e.g., BVM, ETT) and oxygen flow rate. Failing to provide adequate oxygen to a hypoxic patient will lead to deterioration.

4. Medications

Click Medications to access the drug box. Select a drug, dial in the exact dose using the arrows, and click Give Now. You can also "Hold" a medication to prepare it for immediate administration later.

5. Defibrillator & Pacing

• Defib: Adjust energy using the arrows. Click Charge, wait for the tone, and click Shock to deliver. Use Sync: On for synchronized cardioversion.
• Pacer: Click PACER OFF to turn it on. Dial your rate, then increase mA until you see electrical and mechanical capture.

6. Study Rhythms

Click ♥ Study Rhythms at the top to enter a drill mode. Identify the scrolling rhythms to build your diagnostic skills.
